A few months ago, Thalia from life in Athens asked me if I could do anything with this jacket she’d owned and loved for many years but was not so in love with the print it had on the back anymore. See for yourself:

So anyway 🙂 after a lot of pondering and some failed attempts, I got to an “aha!” moment and
decided to use fusible interfacing, fabric and machine embroidery
to do a kind of embroidery/appliqué hybrid.
So here are some process photos and
the final result!
