Dry Shampoo is great, you can use it to suck up oil from your hair when you don’t have time to wash it and to give your hair a nice matt texture and grip when putting it up.
Here are two recipes for dry shampoo, one for blondes and one for brunettes*:
Blonde Dry Shampoo
- 1/2 cup corn flour
- 2 Tbsp baking soda
- essential oil (if you want scent, otherwise skip it)
- sugar shaker
- Combine corn flour and soda in the shaker.
- Add 10-15 drops essential oil
- Shake to combine.
- DONE! Dust on oily roots or mid-lengths and ends, massage in and brush out. Check out the video on more details!
Brunette Dry Shampoo
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 2 Tbsp baking soda
- sugar shaker
- Combine cocoa powder and soda in the shaker.
- Shake to combine.
- DONE! Dust on mid-lengths and ends, massage in and brush out. Be very careful when dusting on roots as cocoa powder will make your scalp brown! Check out the video on more details!
