Just a quickie craft today while I still scramble to get things back in order after I got the hard drive back up and running!
While I was visiting my folks this summer I asked my Dad to cut a piece of wood for me so I could make a ring. He just cut a piece from a branch he’d cut from one of the trees in the garden and drilled a hole through.
After that I just took my trusty dremmel with a sanding band attached and sanded it down to fit my finger.
I kept going with a finer grit sanding band till it was nice and smooth.
I then polished the inside and out with a felt cone and some beeswax.
Just melt a piece of beeswax over a candle and work it into the wood with the felt cone. It helps protect the wood and really brings out the color.
Pretty easy! I love wearing it!
