I’ve been sewing for more than a couple of years now but it’s always been easy, quick and usually without a pattern.
Any time I have tried to use a pattern my let’s say “infinite” source of impatience would kick in and I would usually mess up and then give up fairly quickly… But this time I guess because I was sewing for someone else, all the love and caring overpowered my impatience and I did a pretty good job, considering this was my first time sewing a men’s shirt!
I used this free pattern and the only part I had trouble with was the yoke. I just couldn’t quite get the instructions and had to redo it a couple times. Next time I’m going to try this yoke technique which looks a lot easier.
