I’ve decided to share with you my super secret, super quick, super easy pizza recipe! Ok, I must admit…it’s not really pizza if your idea of pizza is making your own dough but hey! 15 minutes?! who can argue with that?!

This is the basic recipe, take it and run with it with whatever toppings you prefer. Just keep in mind that since the “dough” is thin too many toppings are not a very good idea. My sauce recipe is pretty basic but you could also use this awesome one from alli n sons.

feeds 1 if you’re really hungry or 2 if not

Ingredients

  • 1 large 12in pita or flat bread
  • 1 cup grated mozzarella
  • toppings

for the sauce

  • 1 Tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 Tbsp water
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • salt & pepper
  1. Preheat oven to 180°C/350°F
  2. In a small bowl, combine sauce ingredients with salt & pepper to taste.
  3. Spread sauce on the pita leaving about a 1in border.
  4. Spread the mozzarella.
  5. Arrange toppings.
  6. Bake for 4 – 7 mins or until cheese is browned and bubbly.
  7. Sorry if you were expecting more but that is it! Gobble it down!!
