Today I’m going to show how to quickly patch up that beloved pair of jeans!
For this project you will need:[mpc_icon_list preset=”default” mpc_icon__preset=”default” mpc_icon__icon=”el el-hand-right” mpc_icon__icon_color=”#333333″ font_preset=”default” list=”%5B%7B%22title%22%3A%22torn%20jeans%5Cniron%5Cnfusible%20interfacing%5Cna%20piece%20of%20scrap%20denim%5Cnsewing%20machine%20(optional)%22%2C%22icon_type%22%3A%22icon%22%7D%5D”]
1. Iron the fusible interfacing to the piece of scrap denim on high heat for a couple of minutes.
2. Turn your jeans inside out. Remove the paper backing from the interfacing and place the patch over the tear.
3. Iron the patch on the jeans. Same as before, high heat for a couple of minutes. 4. You can stop at this point but for extra security you can sew over the patch on your sewing machine. You could also experiment with different color threads or stitches.
I chose a color of thread that wouldn’t be noticed as much since these jeans belong to agent P. If they were mine I would totally have gone for contrasting color thread!
